Well, at first, you'll need to do a shitload of passive listening (podcasts/series/movies) to break your ear into english. You want to do this 24/7 (in your free time ofc) for at least a month. Then, try to focus and understand the most out of a 20 mins sequence every day (for another month or so). In a perfect world, a mate of yours is english and you can chat with him/her daily. Dont even try to practice with another french guy/gal no matter what's his/her supposed "level" in english. If you dont have a brits/kiwi/canadian/U.S. mate handy, go find some on youtube and talk.
